We’re in Kamifurano within the greater Furano area; the Furano Ski Resort base, restaurants, and shops are a straightforward drive. Driving times vary with weather but are usually around 15 minutes.
What’s the best way to get there without a car?
Fly to Asahikawa or New Chitose, then train/bus to Furano/Kamifurano and taxi to the house; winter visitors often prefer rental cars for flexibility.
How do you handle snow removal?
Driveway and paths are regularly cleared during snowfall; timing depends on conditions. Please use the snow shovel provided for light touch‑ups if needed.
Do you have boot heaters and equipment storage?

Yes we have both a projector and a large TV. These are in separate rooms so kids and adults can watch different movies if desired. Bring your streaming logins; some apps may not be pre‑installed.

Smoke and Carbon Monoxide detectors, fire extinguisher, and clear emergency instructions are provided; please read the house manual upon arrival.
Are parties or events allowed?
No—quiet hours apply and unregistered visitors are not permitted. Violations may result in eviction and fees.

How do you handle trash and recycling?
Follow the labeled bins for burnable, raw/organic, plastic, and bottles/cans/PET; Hokkaido rules are strict—thank you for sorting. We will remove the trash upon checkout. If there’s too much trash and you need to empty the bin then please use the outdoor bin (place the closed garbage bag inside).
